Checkpoint respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you use the Checkpoint mobile application and related services.
Checkpoint may collect the following types of information:
Account Information
When you create an account or sign in, we may collect information such as your email address, username, and account identifier.
Profile Information
If you choose to customize your profile, we may collect information such as your profile photo, display name, gaming preferences, platform information, and other profile details you provide.
Game and Activity Data
Checkpoint stores information related to your use of the app, including your game library, mission progress, completed games, achievements, checkpoints, backlog status, gaming history, rivalries, challenges, and other in-app activity.
Customer Support Information
If you submit a problem report, support request, or other feedback through the app, we may collect the information you provide in that request, along with technical identifiers needed to investigate the issue.
Social and Friend Information
If you use social features, we may process information related to friend requests, friendships, shared games, challenges, rivalries, and activity shown to other Checkpoint users.
Third-Party Account Information
If you connect a supported third-party account, such as Google, Apple, Facebook, Steam, or another gaming or social platform, Checkpoint may receive information made available through that service according to your permissions and the third party's policies.
Checkpoint does not collect health information, financial information, precise location, contact lists from your device, or payment card information unless a future feature clearly requests that information and this Privacy Policy is updated accordingly.
We use information collected through Checkpoint to:
Create and manage user accounts.
Authenticate users and maintain account security.
Provide game tracking, mission progress, achievements, profiles, and other app features.
Personalize your experience, including recommendations, Smart Queue suggestions, current adventures, profile information, and other content based on your activity.
Enable friend, rivalry, challenge, and social features.
Sync information across devices and connected services.
Respond to support requests and investigate reported issues.
Maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the app and its services.
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your personal information for third-party advertising.
Some information may be visible to other Checkpoint users when you use social features. This may include your username, profile photo, gaming activity, achievements, game progress, shared games, challenge results, or similar profile and social information.
You should avoid including sensitive personal information in your public profile or user-visible activity.
Checkpoint may rely on third-party services to provide certain functionality, including authentication, hosting, notifications, social account connections, game information, and related features.
These services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

Other game data or infrastructure providers used by Checkpoint
Third-party services only receive information as necessary to provide the related feature or service.
Checkpoint may display game titles, artwork, metadata, platform information, achievement information, or other third-party game-related content.
Such content belongs to its respective owners. Checkpoint does not claim ownership of third-party game content, trademarks, or intellectual property.
We retain account and app data for as long as necessary to provide Checkpoint and maintain your account.
Information may also be retained when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, or prevent abuse.
You may request deletion of your Checkpoint account and associated personal information.

When an account is deleted, certain information may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or other legitimate purposes.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information handled through Checkpoint.
However, no internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect their passwords and account credentials.
Checkpoint is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that personal information has been collected from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
You may choose whether to:
Create a Checkpoint account.
Upload a profile photo.
Connect supported third-party accounts.
Use social and friend features.
Enable push notifications.
Provide optional profile information.
You may also revoke permissions through your device settings or the relevant third-party service where applicable.
If you enable push notifications, Checkpoint may send notifications related to achievements, missions, friend requests, challenges, activity, or other app functionality.
You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Checkpoint changes or new features are introduced.
When changes are made, the updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
